Double Chocolate Brownie bars
Ingredients
- 1 non‑stick cooking spray
- 20 Oz brownie mix
- 1/3 cup(s) canola oil
- 3 eggs, large
- 16 Oz cream cheese, sotftened
- 2/3 cup(s) sugar
- 12 Oz Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Bar, chopped
Instructions
- Heat oven to 325°F.
- Spray a 13 x 9‑inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
- Combine the brownie mix, 1/3 cup water, canola oil and 1 egg in a large mixing bowl. Mix batter with an electric mixer on medium speed for 1 minute.
- Evenly spread the brownie batter in the prepared baking dish and set aside.
- Combine cream cheese and sugar in a mixing bowl and mix with an electric mixer on low speed for 1 minute or until cream cheese mixture is light and fluffy.
- Add 2 eggs to cream cheese mixture and mix on low speed for 1 more minute.
- Evenly spread the cream cheese topping over the brownie batter.
- Bake the brownies on the center oven rack for 40 to 45 minutes.
- Sprinkle with the chopped chocolate candy bar and cool the brownies completely before cutting into 24 squares.
- Place brownies in a sealed container and keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
